CyOGS II builds upon the foundations of the Cyprus Optical Ground Station (CyOGS) initiative by extending its scope toward quantum-secure satellite communications. While CyOGS focuses on advancing optical ground station capabilities for space–ground links, CyOGS II evaluates how this infrastructure can enable the deployment of satellite-based Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) services in Cyprus. The project conducts a customer-oriented ecosystem analysis, identifying key market segments, assessing their security requirements, and analysing adoption dynamics for commercial QKD services. European Space Agency’s Plan for European Cooperating States (PECS) programme within the Republic of Cyprus and led by Hellas Sat, CyOGS II contributes to positioning Cyprus within the emerging European quantum communication and EuroQCI ecosystem.

FOCAL aims to develop theoretical foundations and engineering mechanisms for the first optimal and interoperable end-to-end (E2E) functional composition of PQC-enabled systems across both provisioned and resource-constrained large-scale networked environments.
FOCAL is funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No101225859.

The project aims to define the specifications for constructing interoperable post-quantum cryptographic solutions including a quantum-safe (QS) profile for ETS (Enterprise Transport Security) (QSETS).

EU-HYBNET (Empowering a Pan-European Network to Counter Hybrid Threats) project is funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No883054.
